Hussein Mirjan is the President of Teknerd Steel Detailing Solutions. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building & Construction Engineering. He started his work experience as a structural steel engineer before he got introduced to steel detailing and to X-Steel (Which has lately become Tekla Structures) back in 1998. Hussein started utilizing X-Steel since Version 4.1 to detail steel structures. He has 20 years of experience in steel detailing using Tekla structures. During those years of experience Hussein worked for:

 

•  Berlin Steel Construction Company for 3 years (Pennsylvania).

•  J. B. Long, Inc. Steel Detailing for 14 years (Pennsylvania).

•  Pacific Coast Detailing for 1 year (California).

•  Headline Engineering for 1 year (Dubai).

•  Alhilal Consulting Engineers for 2 years (Dubai).

 

Due to years of experience in steel detailing, using Tekla structures, and working inside and outside the US, Hussein had the opportunity of handle a variety of projects with many different types of steel structures. He has worked with large number of different steel fabricators who have had many different standards and settings. This opportunity helped Hussein to gain a wealthy knowledge in steel detailing, and extensive experience in utilizing Tekla Structure software, which made him capable to lead Teknerd to better serve and satisfy clients.
